If not, then why does it matter?

A: No one can say this, but maybe in terms of being the best darkroom on the market, Lightroom is better than some of the other darkroom options. That said, I still feel there is a great deal going on here, which isn't just because it makes it easier for you to use Darkroom. It comes with everything you need, even the most hardcore of filters, start photo editing (http://knowledge.giize.com/learn-photo-editing) especially on darkroom setups. It's a great little plugin from Lightroom (I think), as far as I can tell, but it isn't as good as everything Darkroom, and in particular not as good as Lightroom's "fuzzy" tool in general. I think my point is that most people still enjoy using it, whether you like it or not.
